![]() One application where I have found no real advantage of low self discharge cells, is the house cordless phone, it's always being put back on the base station to recharge. I have heard not so good report on Energiser cells, despite not being cheap. I used Eneloop or Panasonic low discharge cells in my Logitech cordless mouse for some time, until the mouse failed! Wireless Keyboard and Mouse, whether separately or as a Combo require 2 or 4 AAA batteries which may be included with the Keyboard-Mouse Combo or might have to. With low discharge types, it's nearly always ready to use. My Fuji camera cells (ordinary NimH) were usually flat, or near flat when I (infrequently) used it. ![]() The Magic Keyboard delivers even more with a floating design, backlit keys, and a builtin trackpad.
